What is Aberystwyth like?

Aberystwyth (or Aber as it is known locally) is a beautiful University town on the mid-Wales coast overlooking Cardigan Bay.

It’s local population of around 18,000 is boosted by an additional 7,000 students during term time.

The usual chain stores are inter-dispersed with local, independent businesses. The town has loads of pubs, coffee shops and restaurants and a beautiful seafront promenade to stroll along.

Many of the local pubs stay open until late on the Friday & Saturday as well as the legendary Pier Pressure nightclub.
