How does it work?
The festival is made up of around 50 individual shows which take place around Aberystwyth between 4th – 6th October 2019.
Each show has its own capacity depending on the size of the room which range from 50 – 400 seaters, all of which are located within 10 minutes walk of each other around the seafront part of town.
You only buy a ticket for the show(s) you want to see, allowing you to go and watch as much or as little as you want across the weekend. Certain shows will sell out so if there’s a show you really want to see then it is best to buy tickets in advance via the website.
If you’d rather take your pick on the weekend, there is a festival box office at the Old College selling tickets to all remaining shows.
Many of the ticketed shows have an age limit so it is worth checking before buying tickets for anyone under 18. There are dedicated family shows, including performances for young children. The complete programme is available online here.
However, there’s plenty going on in the town if you just want to come and soak up the atmosphere!
We’ll be hosting free programme of live music, cabaret and childrens activities across the weekend.
Our cosy bar in the Seddon Room in the Old College is a picturesque spot for a little festival tipple. There’s also lots of local pubs, clubs and restaurants to explore throughout the town.
For outdoor enthusiasts, Aberystwyth has some stunning coastal walks, scenic bike trails and incredible nature reserves all right on the doorstep.
We look forward to welcoming everyone in October!
