Indo-Kiwo-Ausso comedian Runi Talwar (writer for Have I Got News For You, Hypothetical) presents his debut hour, in the incredible story of a lovely guy who was once told he should ‘get his name out there more’ and took it far too literally.
From the humble beginnings of being the only Indian kid in his primary school in New Zealand, to the heady heights of moving to a studio apartment on the other side of the world one month before a global pandemic, join Runi as he explores the meaning of luck and fortune, in the hilarious and heart-warming tale of a lovely bloke who’s *just a little bit* incredibly cursed.
Nominee – Best Newcomer, ISH Edinburgh Comedy Awards
★★★★ – Fest Magazine
“It’s hard to believe this accomplished hour is Runi Talwar’s Fringe debut. Delivers his fluently paced hour with charm and ease… definitely one to watch” Chortle
“The tightest, gag heaviest script, and a good window display of the Hindi / Kiwi / Aussie comic’s nascent star potential” British Comedy Guide
