The Coliseum – Ceredigion Museum
Home to Ceredigion Museum for more than 30 years, the Coliseum in Aberystwyth originally opened as a variety theatre in 1905, before becoming a cinema in the early 1930s.
The original Grade II listed theatre space in the middle of the museum still exists and we’re delighted to have this 100 seater venue as part of our programme.
It’s on Terrace Rd, which runs from Aberystwyth train station to the seafront. You’ll find the Coliseum at the crossroads with Portland St, opposite The White Horse pub, about one minute’s walk from the beach.
